Brief report of the 1st International Symposium of CCII -Bioinformatics and its application to cancer and other diseases-

The 1st International Symposium of CCII -Bioinformatics and its application to cancer and other diseases- held on January 15, 2021 via Zoom Webinar was successfully concluded.

We held the symposium aiming to create an opportunity for young scientists to deepen their knowledge and understanding on bioinformatics.

8 distinguished lecturers and 9 promising young scientists made presentations under the themes of bioinformatics on cancer and other diseases, and technical development.

We had 156 registrants from 12 countries.

All the participants joined the symposium with great interest and were involved in active discussion and Q&A despite the time differences.

CCII will continue to hold this symposium series for continuous development of the medical and bioscience fields.
