The CCII Scholarship Application is now open

Applications for the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY2026) CCII Scholarship have commenced.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 9, 2026.

1. Outline and Purpose

The Kyoto University Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (hereinafter referred to as “CCII”) was established in April 2020, with its mission focused on fostering researchers who contribute to future generations in the fields of human cancer immunology and immunotherapy.
To attain this goal, we have established a CCII Scholarship System for prospective postgraduate students for admission, aiming to provide an environment where outstanding candidates entering the field are able to concentrate on their research by offering admission and tuition fee support.


2. Eligibility

Students who wish to be recipients of the CCII Scholarship from April 2026, and who satisfy all the following categories (1) to (3):
(1) Those who will be enrolled from April 2026 in the fields of the regular curricula (Master’s Course or Doctoral Course) which the CCII recruits for;
(2) Exceptional candidates both in academic work and in personality and who are able to obtain recommendations from a prospective supervisor; and
(3) Candidates with Japanese nationality.
